Qualifications

Summary/ObjectiveThe Design and Showroom Team Lead is responsible for maintaining their Sales Representative responsibilities, in addition to managing the schedule of the showroom, leading and assisting the team of designers and sales representatives, and collaborating with leadership to ensure customer and team satisfaction.

Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Act as a mentor and assists the team of Designers and Sales Representatives as neededManage design team workload and ensure quotes are submitted by the bid due date.Ensure all samples are up-to-date and request new samples as needed.Create and manage the Showroom schedule to ensure that front desk is appropriately staffed and walk-in clients are being helped quickly and professionally.Provides exceptional service to customers by welcoming them, being helpful, anticipating & responding to their needs.Works independently to prepare quotes and proposals for all product categories in a timely manner utilizing designated company guidelines, systems, and software.Demonstrates and applies strong working knowledge of 2020 design software and creative design skills for countertops and cabinetry.Contributes towards growth and profitability, following up on outstanding quotes, following price objectives, creating accurate designs and processing orders with minimal errors within an acceptable timeline.Demonstrates and applies knowledge of company procedures and workflow including but not limited to; pricing programs/proposals, order process, job completion, service requests, customer inquiries and other internal systems. Knows who within the company is the appropriate contact to assist with problem resolution.Knowledge of showroom product lines sold in conjunction with sales.Demonstrates and applies thorough understanding of appliance specifications and integration with cabinetry.Applies sound sales skills when interacting with customers via phone, email, or the showroom floor.Maintains professionalism in all aspects of job duties.Assists with maintenance of showroom tasksPerforms other related duties as required.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Required Education and Experience

Strong knowledge of 2020 design softwareAbility to read and scale residential and commercial blueprintsAbility to multitask and professionally manage interactions internally and externally to the companyExcellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to meet due dates and commitments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent sales and customer service skills.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Preferred Education and Experience

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior DesignKitchen design and sales experience
