Job Description
As the Manager - Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and measuring strategic marketing plans with a particular focus on Liberty Audio/Visual (AV) products. This role necessitates a clear understanding of our AV solutions and how to build awareness and interest in these products to meet customer needs. You should be adept at day-to-day marketing activities and contribute to the long-term strategy while meeting deadlines, adapting to changing business needs, and inspiring a team of motivated professionals.
As the Manager - Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and measuring strategic marketing plans with a particular focus on Liberty's Audio/Visual (AV) products and Liberty Wire and Cable. This role necessitates a clear understanding of our AV solutions and wire and cable offerings to build awareness and interest in these products to meet customer needs. You should be adept at day-to-day marketing activities and contribute to the long-term strategy while meeting deadlines, adapting to changing business needs, and inspiring a team of motivated professionals.
Responsibilities:Coordinate marketing activities for Liberty's Audio/Visual products and Liberty Wire and Cable, spanning customer engagement, sales enablement, market awareness, lead generation, and market intelligence.Implement marketing plans and manage associated marketing activities focused on AV products and wire and cable solutions.Develop marketing campaigns in collaboration with other marketing and business leaders, including evaluating marketing plans and strategies to respond to changing market and competitive conditions.Understand and interpret customer and sales data related to AV products and wire and cable offerings to identify opportunities in the market and drive sales growth.Recommend methods for developing existing or related markets and expanding into new ones, specifically for AV and wire and cable solutions.Stay informed of new marketing approaches and products, services, and solutions offered by competitors in the AV and wire and cable industries.Utilize Liberty's project management system to ensure timely execution of projects and clear role definition within the creative department.Ensure scheduled programs are completed on time and within budget and communicate results, best practices, and successes.Contribute to driving the profitable growth of targeted businesses by ensuring that marketing programs align with corporate, business unit, and strategic supplier partner priorities.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - Marketing or Business Administration required; Masters' Degree - Business Administration, Marketing Communications, Advertising, or Marketing preferred7+ years experience in product or field marketing3+ years experience in strategic business planning5+ years experience in product or field marketing preferredExperience in Industrial/B2B marketing preferred; distribution experience a plus preferredIndustry knowledge, including suppliers, customers, and competitors preferredExperience in hiring, training, developing, managing and appraising personnel preferredMarketing strategy and implementationStrong creativity and entrepreneurial driveStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong research and analytics skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to influence others, meet deadlines, and deliver resultsTechnical and/or industrial marketing experience preferredAbility to travel 0-25% of the time
