What’s the Job?
This role will act as a marketing support for the product management team. This includes gaining a deep understanding and driving the contractor and consumer engagement with the product, throughout its lifecycle. Plus, building a deep knowledge of our market and competitors to help guide product campaigns, including key purchase drivers and creative assets needed to succeed. Building from this knowledge, individual is charged with developing and communicating a market position that is differentiated, clear, defensible and monetizable. In addition, this role is responsible for arming sales (direct and channel) with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful in driving product placement sales and market share objectives. Working cross functionally and having daily interface with the Corporate Marketing, Exterior Sales, Product Management and outside vendors, this individual project manages the delivery of marketing and merchandising deliverables and supplies key messaging content for use in defined Sales and Marketing tools that will span print, digital and social media. --
Essential Functions
• Marketing project management focused on campaign execution and digital asset creation
• Manage digital assets and website content in various system platforms including internal PIM & DAM repositories
• Support new product introductions as part of cross functional team, driving execution of product launch and commercialization plan leveraging marketing vehicles, customer programs/promotions and merchandising platforms available within business and across Exterior Products and CertainTeed Corporate
o Align launch timing with key sales milestones and use detailed project management scheduling and tools to meet dates
• Provide input via Creative Brief and product positioning messaging to support Sales Collateral Development, Production and Management – including literature, samples, merchandising collateral and displays
• Assist in development and execution of proactive market research and competitive analysis-
• Own education material creation including product presentations and LMS courses targeting both internal and external audiences
• Partner cross functionally with Strategic Marketing, other business units and sales to identify and act on cross-product synergies and best practices
• Manage, participate and travel to trade shows, customer events, educational seminars and additional activities in support of the business
• Ability to handle multiple projects of varied importance to the promised deliverable results

What do you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or related field preferred
3-5+ Years of Marketing or Product Management-
Experience successfully managing deadline-driven marketing/sales initiatives
Demonstrated capability in planning, organizing, integrating, and measuring projects & programs
Strong problem solving, analytical & computer skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
