Company Description
The New York Red Bulls are one of 29 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.
The Game Presentation & Field Marketing Internship is designed for college students who are interested in live sports entertainment and production. They would assist in creating a unique fan experience and environment on a match day at Red Bull Arena. They will learn about entertainment, field marketing, stage management, video board production and other aspects of game presentation. This intern will report directly to the Manager of Game Presentation & Entertainment and work collaboratively with those within Field Marketing and Control Room management.

Assist on match days as an additional stage manager.Help execute partnership presentations.Work alongside in-arena host for live hits and additional events.Ideate on new elements to bring to the fan experience on match days.Learn script writing and overall production elements.
Field MarketingParticipate with BULLevard planning, execution, and activations.Creatively brainstorm on grassroots outreach opportunities.Work with the event activation team on match days and outside events.
ProductionLearn how to prepare for and execute the in-house production for sporting events.Work with equipment and shadow various roles in a live control room.
Fan EngagementEngaging with supporter groups and finding new ways to integrate them into the match entertainment.Learn about outreach and how we continue growing the supporter base.Brainstorming new traditions and supporter invovlement elements.QualificationsUndergraduate student with an interest in Game Entertainment, Field Marketing and ProductionPrior experience in sports/entertainment is a plusStrong work ethic and a self-starter when given projects to ownAbility to handle a fast-paced, high stress environmentFlexibility to work weekends and nights for eventsWork well in a team focused environment

This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required).
Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).
