PR & Influencer Manager

ColourPop is looking for a PR& Influencer Manager to join our team. This position will be hybrid in our Sherman Oaks satellite office 3 days per week. Travel to NY as needed and to our Oxnard HQ in Ventura County approximately 1-2x per quarter.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaximize brand visibility through digital and print publications, partnering with the Director of Influencer and PR.Manage the PR strategy with the Director to support key marketing launches and pillar initiatives; execute on the strategy to ensure the success of each activation.Develop and craft press communications for key launches and pillar initiatives.Handle outreach and pitching activities for launches.Draft responses on behalf of the brand and its leadership for key press opportunities and interviews.Secure media opportunities and press coverage for launches and brand moments to enhance awareness and earned media value (EMV).Lead celebrity seeding and secure organic celebrity placements.Partner with the Director to plan and execute PR events.Consolidate and report on KPIs for PR activations; develop best practices to drive the success of future PR efforts.Distribute press releases, products, and follow-ups to ensure media placement.Oversee press mailings and PR presentations for major launches and events.Act as the voice of SEED Beauty by leading desk-side meetings; leverage cross-functional partners, such as chemists, to maximize desk-side effectiveness.Support brand awareness initiatives such as award shows, pop-ups, events, Fashion Week, and more.Track media coverage in Cision and assist in PR reporting.Support the influencer team by sourcing, onboarding, and nurturing relationships within the influencer community.Manage relationships with celebrity makeup artists (MUA) influencers and the celebrity MUA collective.Job Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of public relations experience.Both agency and in-house experience are preferred.Must have current experience pitchingExperience in beauty or fashion industries preferred.Bachelor's degree required.Existing relationships with editors and influencersThis role will have a hybrid schedule (3 days a week in our Sherman Oaks office)
The annual salary range for this position is $80k-100k DOE. ColourPop also offers a competitive benefits package including paid vacation time, health benefits, 401k + 100% match, paid holidays, pet insurance and more.
