Description

This role will be supporting both the Amazon Studios and MGM Studios corporate FP&A teams.

• Support Studios and MGM Corporate FP&A team during monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting cycles

• Partner with MGM divisional finance teams to ensure monthly forecasts are loaded into Essbase

• Maintain the redshift tables for the studios content finance team during each planning cycle and month end close

• Prepare monthly accruals for production facilities overhead

• Support studios FP&A in automating financial models and processes

• Own FDMEE financial data transfer process between financial forecasting tools

• Provide regularly updated P&L and FCF scenario variance reports with summarized changes.

• Analyze operating expenses to provide insight to manager on categorization and allocation.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

1+ years of finance experience

Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL

Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)

Public accounting experience preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $109,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
