About the Position

Description
The
Marketing Cloud Email Specialist is responsible for understanding business
requirements and delivering high quality technical solutions that empower the
organization to utilize the Marketing Cloud automation platform. This new position will support several
internal teams within the organization, including the Communications and
Marketing teams, with building custom queries, email templates, amp script
based dynamic template's, automation jobs, troubleshooting, and building out
comprehensive customer journeys. reporting to Assistant Director of Cloud
Platform Engineering, the ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce
Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Key Responsibilities: Support several internal Business Areas with Marketing Cloud for Mass Email campaigns Create and Provide Training and Access to new users Ensure emails are delivered properly to several audiences Ensure messages are sent in proper form and template Ensure messages are mobile-friendly Collaborate with the salesforce and membership teams to update non-deliverable email addresses and opt-outs Build/interpret metrics and provide guidance on best practices Coordinate and monitor the maintenance, integrity, and security of several databases. Develop and code the list segmentation for all direct and interactive marketing campaigns and communicate requirements to the primary database vendor Create automation and reporting for the business to reduce duplication and increase adoption Ensure Data Extensions are clean, deduped and syncing as needed Provide guidance to the business on best practices. Reduce technical debt by cleaning up aged list or extensions
Minimum Requirements 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Critical Skills Strong background in agile SCRUM agile practices and associated tools Fundamental understanding of database technologies Ability to collaborate with clients to design customer journeys, and associated data models. Experience with Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders, most importantly Email Studio, Content Builder, Cloud Pages and Automation Studio Experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service Cloud, Communities)
Additional Skills & Qualifications Self-starter with a strong ability to use initiative and work autonomously or as part of a team. Excellent analytical and time management skills; must have the ability to prioritize. High attention to details. Strong sense of customer focus, both internal and external. Creative and analytical thinker with strong critical thinking skills Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization Have a 'can-do' attitude and be a good team player. Clear communication skills to make complex technical matters simple when communicating with non-technical stakeholders and client executives.
Education A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as marketing, communications, advertising, or business Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification highly desired
