About the PositionPositionDescriptionTheMarketing Cloud Email Specialist is responsible for understanding businessrequirements and delivering high quality technical solutions that empower theorganization to utilize the Marketing Cloud automation platform. This new position will support severalinternal teams within the organization, including the Communications andMarketing teams, with building custom queries, email templates, amp scriptbased dynamic template's, automation jobs, troubleshooting, and building outcomprehensive customer journeys. reporting to Assistant Director of CloudPlatform Engineering, the ideal candidate will have experience with SalesforceMarketing Cloud and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
KeyResponsibilities:Support several internal Business Areas with Marketing Cloud for Mass Email campaignsCreate and Provide Training and Access to new usersEnsure emails are delivered properly to several audiencesEnsure messages are sent in proper form and templateEnsure messages are mobile-friendlyCollaborate with the salesforce and membership teams to update non-deliverable email addresses and opt-outsBuild/interpret metrics and provide guidance on best practicesCoordinate and monitor the maintenance, integrity, and security of several databases.Develop and code the list segmentation for all direct and interactive marketing campaigns and communicate requirements to the primary database vendorCreate automation and reporting for the business to reduce duplication and increase adoptionEnsure Data Extensions are clean, deduped and syncing as neededProvide guidance to the business on best practices.Reduce technical debt by cleaning up aged list or extensions
MinimumRequirements5+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Critical SkillsStrong background in agile SCRUM agile practices and associated toolsFundamental understanding of database technologiesAbility to collaborate with clients to design customer journeys, and associated data models. Experience with Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders, most importantly Email Studio, Content Builder, Cloud Pages and Automation StudioExperience with Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service Cloud, Communities)
