They embrace a collaborative studio environment that encourages open discussions of architectural ideas and creative solutions for clients.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership : Manage all design stages from concept through completion, working closely with clients, contractors, and the internal team to ensure cohesive and successful project outcomes.Project Management : Define project scope, schedules, quality standards, and manage fees to keep each project on track.Design Development : Lead programming, conceptualization, and development of strategic design solutions, ensuring alignment with client and brand goals.Client Presentations : Deliver compelling presentations to clients and brands, articulating design concepts and solutions effectively.Material Consultation : Research, evaluate, and consult on materials, collaborating with manufacturers as needed.Preparation of Deliverables : Coordinate and lead the preparation of design deliverables, including:Mood boardsDesign presentationsRendered plans, elevations, and viewsRenderingsSpecifications and drawingsComplete construction document setsConsultant coordinationFinish, hardware, & plumbing selection and specificationsFF&E selection, budgeting, and documentationCustom furniture design and specificationsMillwork detailsFinish boards/boxes and FF&E bindersConstruction Administration : Participate in construction administration by responding to RFIs, preparing sketches, and conducting site visits to support project execution and prepare punch lists.Team Supervision : Oversee design work to ensure cohesion, supervise drawing preparation, and maintain high standards in quality control and project detailing.Process Leadership : Manage all phases of design from initial programming to meeting brand standards.Mentorship : Provide guidance and support to Designers, fostering professional growth and development.Collaboration with Design Director : Work closely with the Design Director to assess project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing needs, and milestone planning.Client & Consultant Relations : Serve as a representative of the firm, facilitating effective coordination between clients, consultants, and internal teams.Site Visits : Attend client presentations, site visits, and project coordination meetings as required.QualificationsEducation : Bachelor's degree in Interior DesignExperience : 7+ years in the hospitality or multi family design industry.Technical Skills : Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and PhotoshopDesign & Management Skills : Strong conceptual design abilities, effective time management for multi-project oversight, and expertise in managing construction drawing sets and FF&E specifications.Communication : Collaborative, self-motivated, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service orientation.Certifications : LEED accreditation is a plus.Code Knowledge : General knowledge of accessibility, building codes, and technical requirements for hospitality architecture and design.3P Careers specializes in placing engineers, architects, interior designers and related professionals.
