The Account Manager, Publisher Success is responsible for delivering exceptional client services, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring long-term client retention. This role focuses on optimizing account performance, maximizing revenue, and fostering the success of assigned publishers. You will build strong relationships, provide proactive solutions, and identify opportunities for growth.

As an Account Manager, you will advocate for publisher needs, provide data-driven insights, and work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless support. This position requires excellent communication, analytical skills, and a "publisher-first" mentality.

Essential Responsibilities:

Manage an established portfolio of publishers, focusing on retention and growthTake on new accounts, build rapport, and foster trust and long-term partnershipsProactively assess potential risks of churn and implement solutions to ensure ongoing successAdvocate for publisher needs, addressing feature and data requests, reporting, and toolsUse cohort data, trend analysis, and projections to provide tailored recommendationsDeliver periodic business reviews and performance reportsMaintain consistent and personalized communication with each publisherMonitor client social accounts to celebrate publisher successes and milestonesCollaborate with Support Specialists and Engineers to resolve day-to-day issuesSurface trends across accounts, ensuring key information is shared and escalated when necessaryMaintain expert-level knowledge of Mediavine's products and services to suggest relevant featuresTrack and analyze performance results to identify opportunities for improvementPerform other duties as assignedAvailability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats and the annual all hands events (approximately 20% of the time)Requirements

2+ years of experience in Customer Success or a related fieldMediavine experience preferredExperience working remotely in a distributed team environmentExperience in a publisher-facing role, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationshipsStrong proficiency with Google SuiteExperience with communication platforms like SlackExperience working with a CRM such as Hubspot, Salesforce, etcInitiative and a drive to go above and beyond for each publisherStrong critical thinking and analytical skills to tailor recommendations effectivelyExcellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasksExceptional written and verbal communication skillsA positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamworkThe ability to present data persuasively and make informed recommendationsAvailability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats and the annual all hands events (approximately 20% of the time)Benefits

At Mediavine, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications. The base salary range for this role at the time of posting is $55,000 - $115,000 USD/yr.
