Public Relations Account Supervisor – Technology PR (Boston)LOCATION: The Public Relations Account Supervisor will be based in our Boston office. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week. It is a full-time, direct-hire position. (There is 1 open position in our Tech PR practice, and it can be filled at either AVP or AS level, for any of our locations in Boston, NYC, or Atlanta. This is the AS ad for Boston. Please refer to our other ads for the other locations.).Qualified PR Account Supervisor applicants will have 4+ years of prior PR agency experience working with B2B or B2C technology clients.Finn Partners is an award-winning, global, integrated marketing and public relations agency. We’re seeking a PR account supervisor who is passionate about public relations, ready to jump in to enhance our team's continued success and loves working with leading national and international B2B and B2C technology clients. The PR account supervisor is an essential client contact and ensures our team develops and executes high-quality strategic communications campaigns that exceed client expectations.Responsibilities:Work with partner-level executives to manage multiple concurrent public relations account teams and programs.Participate in the development and execution of creative, strategic client public relations programs and campaigns, including budget and KPI tracking.Implement core PR campaigns - planning, media strategy/pitching, event management, social media, industry analyst relations, content writing/editing, research, and account administrationExecute strong media relations campaigns while motivating and mentoring junior staff on larger storytelling techniques, expert positioning and reactive media relations. Ensure the team is securing national, trade, and local media placements by proactively researching and pitching compelling story angles.Draft content, including client-ready documents, strategies, and other communication, including pitches, bylined articles, blogs, bios, press materials, and meeting reports.Oversee weekly, biweekly, and monthly verbal and written client reporting.Manage and develop account team members as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or public relations.4+ years of prior PR agency experience working with B2B or B2C technology clientsExperience working with traditional and social media strategies and campaignsStrong project management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projectsPossesses strong media relations strategy and storytelling skillsCrafts compelling messages that drive business goals and elevate client programs; is a refined communicator.Generates grammatically sound, client-ready communication as a skilled writer and editor.Has some prior experience supervising and driving high-level thinking among junior public relations staff to ensure a full pipeline of top-tier, trend, and feature storiesDisplays compassionate and inspiring mentorship skills; counsels junior-level staff in a positive and motivational manner.Advises and drives results that effectively meet internal and external needs and exceed client expectations.Strong communication skills, both oral and written (including editing skills)Experience using all Microsoft Office productsDetail-oriented, deadline-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced, growing environment.#LI-KM1 #LI-Hybrid Boston, MASalary range is $80K-$110K.
