Overview
The Senior/Global Clinical Marketing Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing clinical marketing plans for Clinical Business Unit's key target audiences. This role will act as the clinical LC-MS/MS marketing portfolio champion partnering with sales, product management, marketing colleagues, R&D and other internal partners to cultivate growth within clinical LC-/MS/MS diagnostics market. Critical responsibilities include execution downstream marketing of clinical LC-MS/MS diagnostic portfolio: execution of marketing campaigns, execution of product growth strategies, market positioning and customer messaging, and execution of a clinical KOL strategy.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Marketing, Clinical Business Unit, we are seeking a committed and dedicated individual to join a hardworking, agile team to develop innovative solutions to address high unmet needs in the clinical LC-MS/MS diagnostics market.
This position may be home-based and requires domestic and international travel of up to 30%. If remote, it can be located on the Eastern United States that is close to an international airport.
Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive customer solutions, value propositions, messaging, and materials/tools to support field initiatives.
- Lead the efforts to identify unmet clinical customer needs and develop insights to drive commercial go-to-market strategy. Create clear paths for customers to adopt and grow their Waters Clinical Product Portfolio.
- Implement the launch of new products and champion strategies to ensure commercial success. Collaborate with Global Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and customer support organizations to generate revenues and profits and meet strategic objectives with the launch of new products.
- Develop and support cross-functional execution of short-term and long-term marketing initiatives that address all levels of the sales funnel. Localize and prioritize global initiatives in partnership with field leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure achievement of existing sales goals and objectives and ensure that the sales groups are properly oriented to successfully promote Waters Clinical Products and Solutions.
- Develop key strategic relationships with Clinical Key Opinion Leaders to coordinate targeted VOC sessions, develop a podium strategy and product category specific advisory boards.
- Develop metrics to analyze segment performance and measure commercial success.
- Manage the budget for downstream marketing activities, ensuring highest return on investment.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging with deployment of sales assets, external assets including social media campaigns, Congress messaging and booth presence.
- Lead the execution of annual clinical congresses, tradeshows, and support the Global Commercial Meeting, in order to support the achievement of the annual commercial objectives.
- Lead market segment and competitive analysis, incorporating insights into growth initiatives to gain market share.
- Deliver training to commercial field teams
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Chemistry or related science, MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of upstream and/or downstream marketing experience in IVD marketing or related marketing background.
- Deep understanding of clinical diagnostic market and customers.
- Solid understanding of LC-MS/MS based solutions and workflow.
- Clear communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with proven time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate with a cross-functional, international team, influence, and lead.
- International working experiences in different geographies or global marketing experience.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite of tools, experience in analyzing datasets.
- Strong project management capability.

The general base pay for this position ranges from $106,500/year to $142,000/year. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
