SUMMARY:

The Director Social Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative social media campaigns for brand and entertainment clients. This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of client campaigns from conceptualizing creative pitches to overseeing their execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ideate and strategize compelling social marketing campaigns, including short-form content and digital activations for a range of clients, focusing on creativity and engagement. Translate campaign concepts into compelling pitch decks for client presentations.
  • Supervise the internal creation of social media campaigns, including video content, copywriting, talent concepts, digital activations, and other social media initiatives.
  • Oversee the creative process, ensuring that social media creative assets are compelling, highly engaging and on-brand. Drive the ideation and conceptualization of campaign content, particularly focusing on short-form video content for platforms like TikTok.
  • Bring a deep understanding of social media, especially TikTok, to develop content that aligns with client goals and resonates with target audiences.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the campaign are executed efficiently, from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using key metrics to gauge success and areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to refine future campaigns and increase ROI.
  • Lead and mentor a team of creative professionals as the department expands, enhancing both team performance and individual development trajectories.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be based in Los Angeles
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years previous experience
  • Proven track record of developing successful social media marketing campaigns, especially in the entertainment sector.
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms and trends, particularly TikTok, and a demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge to achieve business objectives.
  • Creative aptitude for crafting innovative social media content and activations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and organizational prowess.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically with attention to detail and a focus on innovation and creativity.

PAY SCALE:
  • $90,000 - $115,000/annually
