Position Summary:

The Senior Marketing Analyst is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing print mail campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding in data interpretation, business analysis, and strategic planning. The Senior Marketing Analyst will determine the impact of current and future marketing initiatives through quantitative data and research. This role will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure reporting, data analysis, and strategy alignment for campaigns and marketing channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage print mail campaigns utilizing market intelligence data sources to help better understand the business environment within our key markets.
  • Design and execute mail campaigns aimed at acquiring, retaining, and reactivating customers.
  • Cultivate intelligence, conduct competitive analysis and stay up to date for key organizational projects including new acquisitions, new product development, promotions, significant change initiatives, etc.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights and performance metrics to achieve business goals.
  • Communicate key insights to senior leadership through presentations, dashboards, and reports.
  • Analyze and interpret print mail response rates and ROI to optimize future campaigns.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research on discrete market events, develop 'expert network' for input & analysis
  • Manage budget and ensure print mail campaigns are cost-effective and efficient.
  • Maintain accurate data and mailing lists for targeted campaigns.
  • Test and evaluate new print mail formats, offers, and creative elements to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain positive cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders, such as senior management, vendors, and customers.
  • Stay informed about industry changes, search engine updates, new technologies, and provide thought leadership on emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Works cross functionally with other departments such as analytics, creative, and marketing to evaluate customer behavior resulting from campaigns.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Employment Standards:

Knowledge
  • Expert Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and PowerBI.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.

Experience
  • 5+ years of creating mail or catalog campaigns, project management, or relevant experience.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to question and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Analyzes member data using database queries (SQL, Access), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Adobe/Google), statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.
  • Knowledge of industry best marketing analytical approaches and methodologies such as A/B split testing and customer modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven track record of achieving performance goals and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Prior retail experience preferred, but not required

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to act independently and take initiative to solve problems, implement solutions, and create new processes
  • Ability to maintain all job-related information in a confidential and private manner.

Working Conditions
  • Ability to work extended hours may be required to meet deadlines, handle unusual workloads or to accomplish organizational priorities
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods in one location which may be restricted to the employee's workstation.
