We are looking for Owner Operators like you who are ready to drive their career to the top!Owner Operators Can Expect:Home daily/Flexible ScheduleRun Local (GA & SC), short haul and regional routes to/from ocean terminalsDrop and hook, no touch freightDedicated dispatch supportFree truck parking in secured lotWeekly settlementsRequirementsJob Responsibilities:Reviewing dispatchers' instructions before deliveries to prevent any errors or miscommunications, dispatching of loads electronically.Strategically planning travel routes to ensure all deliveries are completed promptly.Performing inspections of the designated truck before and after each delivery to ensure that it is mechanically sound.Maintaining a logbook with an accurate account of the number of hours worked, rest periods, and mileage covered.Submitting cargo documents and obtaining POD to confirm receipt of the cargo and uploading the documents into DrayOS lite.Organizational skills to plan routes and keep easy-to-read records.Navigational skills to develop routes and revise them as needed to avoid delays.Driver Requirements: Valid state issued Class A CDLTWIC card requiredMinimum 2 years (ocean container) drayage experienceMust own a tractor that meets SEIDS/DOT requirementsNo more than 6 points in last 3 yearsSmart phoneEvidence of valid automobile and liability insurance policies
