About UsFounded in Colorado in 2005, There With Cares mission is to provide a wide range of meaningful and fundamental services for families and children during the critical phase of a medical crisis. We serve families referred by hospital social workers and build support around them through a community of individuals, volunteers, services, and businesses, who ease their burden of lifes day-to-day obligations with compassion and care. Our current service locations are Colorado and the Bay Area of California. The Important Work Youll DoGRANTS (70%)Lead grant proposal development and submissionpreparing and organizing materials for proposals, and submitting and monitoring grant applications.Research new funding and business development opportunities on a local, state, and national level.Maintain and build relationships with funders and other strategic partners on a local, state, and national level.Draft proposals/LOIs, grant application narratives, and budgets.Create stewardship plans or impact reports for funders.Submit grant applications via paper or online portals, and maintain list of passwords.Meet with funders to explore funding opportunities and fulfill site visit requirements.Maintain master calendar of grants and prospects and all associated files and correspondence.Maintain library of grant support documents including budgets, contributors, bios, IRS forms, board/staff diversity lists, etc.Execute thank you letters and facilitate grant contracts/agreements.Ensure acknowledgment of funders/investors via website, e-newsletter, and social media.Maintain grant compliance and reporting, including outcome measurement and grant budgetstaking responsibility for meeting high standards of effectiveness, timeliness, and completeness.Track progress toward organizational and programmatic outcomes and goals.Create system in SharePoint to organize requests, attachments, and files.CONTENT (30%)Write engaging content to improve There With Cares brand and visibility.Publish content on digital platforms and print: newsletters, annual report, fundraising campaigns, stewardship letters and email, social media, and other projects.Assist with additional projects as assigned.Qualities That Will Make You Successful In This RoleAttention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review and edit documents, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of grant proposals.Time Management: Skill to juggle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust writing style and approach based on different funders' requirements and preferences.Collaboration: Capacity to work effectively with various stakeholders and departments.Research Skills: Proficiency in gathering and synthesizing information from diverse sources to support grant applications.Empathy: Ability to understand and convey the needs of the target population and the impact of proposed projects.Critical Thinking: Skill to analyze complex information and present logical, compelling arguments in grant proposals.Communication: Excellence in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical information into accessible language.Ethical Conduct: Commitment to maintaining honesty and integrity in all aspects of grant writing and reporting. The Important Skills Youll Need To HaveBachelors degree desiredA strong commitment to the mission of There With Care.3 years of non-profit grant-writing and creative writing experience.Proven track record of successful grant applications and funding acquisitionsExceptional time management and prioritizing multiple projects.Excellent written communication skills (writing, editing, and proofreading skills)Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong research and analytical abilitiesHighly organized and detail orientedBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionVacation / SickSTD/LTD Insurance401(k)Work-life Balance / Flexible Schedule according to business needsHybrid position remote/onsite in either our Boulder or Denver officeThere With Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
