We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Content Writer with a proven track record in spearheading cross-departmental training and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) initiatives. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting all lines of our business by creating, organizing, and maintaining internal SOPs to ensure universal accessibility and value for our internal teams and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Identify and communicate needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
- Conduct skills-gap analyses companywide.
- Select appropriate instructional methods, define timeframes, and prepare/create physical and digital training materials.
- Set learning objectives for each course and determine evaluation criteria.
- Create, test, and review engaging training course content (videos, quizzes, and activities).
- Provide desk-side training and one-on-one tutoring/shadowing to associates.
- Maintain a database of all training materials, ensuring actualization in accordance with industry, software, and departmental changes.
- Gather, organize, and document complex technical content from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ensuring accuracy, completeness, version control, and writing style of documentation.
- Identify, maintain, audit, and create knowledge artifacts with a focus on the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job aids, and templates to ensure a consistent approach across all lines of operations.
- Present SOP material in an easily digestible format readily available to all users with accurate and updated information.
Education/Experience and Other Requirements
- Experience in SOP writing
- Experience in healthcare RCM (preferred)
- Knowledge of adult education and training techniques
- Experience documenting processes and workflows
- Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure high-quality written materials
- Excellent research skills to gather relevant information from various sources
- Proficiency in process mapping using Microsoft Visio or other mapping tools
- Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Ability to encourage and mentor teams
- Working Knowledge of MS tools (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate through various systems with ease
