Job Description
GCI's eLearning Content Developer will address and evaluate training needs by crafting customized, engaging eLearning experiences. Leveraging AGILE methodology to design interactive learning modules that inspire learners to change and/or adopt new behaviors and develop new skills. Develop wireframes, storyboards and use various authoring tools to create impactful eLearning content, incorporating rich media elements such as graphics, audio, video, animation, interaction, and games for company-wide and department-specific initiatives. Enhances programs, courses and learning initiatives that will enrich the learning journey for employees across various departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT ALL LEVELS:
- Craft and Deliver Engaging Learning Experiences: Develop and deliver high-quality educational and training programs, including courses, curriculums, training materials, multimedia presentations, interactive modules, and video/audio scripts. Ensure the content resonates with modern learners and aligns with corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with Experts for Impact: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to create compelling online courses, modules, and multimedia resources that effectively convey instructional content to learners.
- Manage LMS Content: Collaborate with team members to seamlessly upload and deploy eLearning content, ensuring an accessible and organized learning experience for employees.
- Facilitate Virtual Learning Excellence: Provide technical coordination and production support for live virtual training sessions using advanced tools. Design virtual classrooms following industry best practices, assuming the role of a producer for live online training. Ensure smooth operation and successful delivery of virtual corporate training sessions.

- Custom design and delivery of instructional programs, including courses, curriculums, training documentation, multimedia presentations, computer-based training, video and audio scripts, tutorials, and training modules.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to develop engaging learning content and assessment questions. Manage the end-to-end content development process, ensuring quality and alignment with objectives.
- Utilize a variety of authoring tools, like Storyline, Lectora, including the Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Illustrator), simulation tools (Captivate, Camtasia), and synchronous learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams and other platforms).
- Apply adult learning theories, instructional design methodologies, and AGILE principles to create effective learning solutions. Implement Analysis/ Design/ Development/ Implementation/ Evaluation (ADDIE) methods to drive content development.
- Craft interactive eLearning courses and training modules that utilize blended learning approaches and various instructional methodologies.
Collaborative Excellence

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior eLearning developers and subject matter experts to ideate, design, and produce eLearning modules, tutorials, videos, and multimedia content.
- Assist in managing the content development lifecycle, from content curation and organization to integrating assessment elements.
- Learn and apply industry-standard authoring tools and virtual training platforms to contribute to the creation of interactive and immersive eLearning experiences.
- Gain insights into Adult Learning Principles and modern instructional design strategies to enhance the efficacy of training content.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Multimedia Design, Communication, or related field. *
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in training development and delivery in support of Customer Service and/or technical functions. *
- Including at least one (1) year of experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier, Illustrator, Adobe Captivate, Storyline, Camtasia).
Preferred:
- Telecommunications experience.
- Relevant telecom industry or job specific certifications.
