Senior Dasher Content Designer Job at Jobleads-US in San Francisco
Jobleads-US, San Francisco, CA, United States
About the Team
At DoorDash we’re building the world’s leading last-mile logistics platform. Our Dasher & Logistics team owns the end-to-end Dasher experience, and Content Design plays an important role in our product development. This is where you come in. This is a unique opportunity to shape a fast-growing, global brand, and improve the future of work and delivery.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Content Designer for the standalone apps for DoorDash drivers, aka Dashers. The Dasher design team makes a big impact on millions of drivers’ experiences, helping Dashers reach their financial goals.
As DoorDash has grown, we’ve evolved to deliver groceries, flowers, convenience, beauty, and more. We’re redesigning a lot of the experience, which happens to be the first-ever app we built at DoorDash. From pickup to drop off, we’re focused on solving problems for people’s everyday lives.
You'll report into the Head of Content Design on our Content Design team, in our Design org. We expect this role to be hybrid, with 2-3 days a week onsite.
You're excited about this role because you'll…
- Lead content design and user experiences across Dasher products, contributing to overall strategy, planning, product vision, and frameworks.
- Own content design processes end-to-end, aligning your work with business goals, user needs, and our design system.
- Work closely with product design, product management, user research, analytics, engineering, and marketing.
- Improve the Dasher experience in areas like support, safety, and new ways to earn.
- Create and grow content standards.
- Work with a close-knit content design team that supports each other across products.
We're excited about you because you…
- Have 5+ years of experience in content design, with a portfolio of end-to-end projects. Experience with audiences like drivers, restaurants, and customer support is a bonus!
- Have partnered with legal and policy, balancing regulatory needs with user-friendly writing.
- Think at a systems level to turn complexity into simple experiences.
- Enjoy working across lots of different functions.
- Love the practice of content design, and care about the details.
- Bring clarity to your teams through design and product best practices.
- Represent content design as a role that impacts the entire product, well beyond the words.
