The Director of Content Strategy & Execution is responsible for the design and execution of a content strategy across public relations channels. S/He will define content strategy, serve as managing editor across all content initiatives, and manage a team of content developers across communications channels to drive positive brand awareness, engagement, and assist marketing with lead generation. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller with significant experience working cross-functionally to develop content across multiple platforms and formats. The Director of Content Strategy & Execution works collaboratively with the Director of Public Relations to align strategies and tactics in support of business objectives.

Qualifications:
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelors degree with a concentration in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a leader in multichannel content creation, social media, public relations, marketing, or related fields, required.
- Additional Skills (required):
- Demonstrated business acumen; able to articulate the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Ability to deeply understand the corporate positioning, consumer needs and the Novant Health communications channels to translate information into consumable content and compelling stories for a variety of audiences across a variety of channels.
- Excellent organizational skills: proven capability to manage everything from strategy to the small details needed to execute the programs.
- Experience creating compelling messages for different target demographics.
- Ability to build and closely manage a diverse team of content development specialists that can operate successfully across departments and functions.
- Ability to act cross-functionally across public relations, internal communications, and marketing to maximize content across audiences and channels.
- A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly.
- Demonstrated business acumen; able to articulate the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
