Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer - Content Solution is responsible for designing and developing content software solutions for certification programs. This role involves conducting meetings with key stakeholders to identify and analyze the needs of certification programs, and designing, developing, and testing software solutions to meet those needs. The Senior Software Engineer - Content Solution participates in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, releasing, localizing, and maintaining each product. This position reports to the Director of Exam Product Development.

The Senior Software Engineer - Content Solution participates in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, releasing, localizing, and maintaining each product. This position reports to the Director of Exam Product Development.
Primary Responsibilities Certification Content Solution Design and Development
- Identify and analyze the content requirements of developing certification exams and training products
- Design, develop, and test software programs and cloud-based solutions to deliver exam content
- Integrate and streamline content localization processes for global program reach
- Implement automated content analysis and assessments using LLM and other AI models
- Collaborate with content engineers and developers to deliver seamless software solutions
- Identify and troubleshoot issues within internal and external exam content management and publishing systems
Technical Writing
- Document content solutions, procedures, and best practices
- Contribute to developing and refining standard operating procedures for content management
Quality Assurance
- Uphold rigorous quality and performance standards for content solutions
- Investigate and resolve quality issues reported by internal and external stakeholders
Project Management
- Work with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project schedules
- Provide accurate time and cost estimates for content solution development
- Attend project meetings and lead meetings as required
Required Knowledge and Experience Education and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
We will accept a bachelor's equivalent based on a combination of education as determined by a professional evaluation service.
- A professional IT certification from a major IT vendor such as Adobe, Apple, Autodesk, Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- 2+ years of professional experience in IT exam product development
- Professional development experience using C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and VBScript.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 products including Graph API, Office Scripts, VBA
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Knowledge of internationalization and localization including Unicode, keyboard layouts, and text direction for Latin, CJK, Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic scripts
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Desire to expand knowledge in software development technologies, systems, and tools
- Proven ability to quickly learn new processes and tools, business domains and technical applications
- Ability to think technically and analytically
- Ability to understand philosophy of software architecture
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Must assimilate information, distill knowledge, apply experience and provide solution alternatives and recommendations
- Must have strong time management skills - including the ability to work well under pressure, plan, set priorities, adapt to change, and meet established timelines
- Must develop effective relationships with internal and external contacts and work well within a team
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be detail-oriented
