We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:The role of the Marketing Coordinator is to promote CORE4 Athletic Complex as a premier sport, recreation, and training destination. This position will work with event providers/vendors, be responsible for promoting the primary revenue streams through effective marketing and advertising efforts. This role will assist in the implementation of a marketing plan including digital, social, grassroots, and local/regional/national event relationship building, and more.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Creating the marketing plan in partnership with the General ManagerExecuting the marketing plan and strategic initiativesManaging and updating the venue websiteContent development for digital or social mediaDesigning flyers and promotional materialsManaging social media business accounts including regular posting and management of content calendarPreparing and presenting regular reporting on marketing strategy and resultsCapturing quality video content of guests, leagues, events, and programsDeveloping creative ideas to improve the foot traffic into CORE4Creating and executing promotional contests, giveaways, and membership eventsBuilding relationships with schools, churches, and other businessesIncreasing social media followers and the number of positive Google reviewsUpdating the in house digital marketing/advertising campaignsMonitoring guest feedback, reviews, and ratings and consistently presenting trends to the General ManagerAssisting with all complex public relations efforts, inquiries, and strategiesAll other duties assigned by the General ManagerTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS: Proven success in generating awareness through consumer marketing and brandingExperience in youth and amateur sports as a consumer, marketing professional, or other relevant experienceAction-oriented personality with a 'get it done' attitude and proficiency for efficiencyExperience with DSLR camera for photos and video is preferredExperience in using a CRM to manage and nurture potential or current customersProven experience in the successful launch of destination-specific advertising/marketing campaignsExperience and success in promoting special eventsPrior experience in marketing research to gain consumer insights (locally, regionally, and nationally) to identify key selling points for attracting corporate/organization relationships including sponsorship and financial partnerships, or business development activitiesManagement of venue website in the WordPress platformMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or advertising; or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar positionExperience in measuring and reporting marketing/advertising campaign analytics to ultimately measure ROI, efficiency, and effectiveness of campaign activityAbility to develop content and write with company voice in mindExperience in managing business accounts on a variety of social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, and TwitterTechnologically savvy with skills in using multiple platforms or software for a variety of tasks such as cloud file management or project managementAdvanced knowledge in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointEntry level or beginner knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in InDesign and IllustratorMust have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skillsMust be a team player and deadline-drivenMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours)WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift 30 pounds waist highMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendWill be required to operate a computerFacility has intermittent loud noise levels
