Alpha Media is seeking a part-time On-Air Talent/Board Operator/Digital Content Creator position for our Wenatchee, Washington market. This position's duties will primarily be performed in our Wenatchee market location. There may be some occasional travel for occasional live broadcasts in Moses Lake. This position will be approximately 25 hours a week during the day and possibly some weekend hours on occasion. Duties include on-air work, writing news, and recording ad copy. In other words, all aspects of local broadcasting. Computer skills are a must.

Pay Range: $20 per hour
Responsibilities for this position may include:
- On-air work as needed, including weekends.
- Operate on-air console and audio controls.
- Monitor station transmitters.
- Accurately log discrepancies.
- Maintain studio equipment and logs.
- Understand the procedures to follow in case of a computer crash or loss of broadcast signal.
- Communicate with the station Market Manager in the event of any concerns, issues, or problems with the broadcast.
- Recording & editing ads for commercial clients.
- Website maintenance and social media posting on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & Twitter posting as requested.
- Live broadcast remotes and appearances, station-sponsored events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements of this position include the following:
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment.
- Ability to drive station vehicle.
- Travel to and from the Moses Lake office location.
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
- This position requires a fully insured personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
