Associate Creative Director

Our Associate Creative Director must demonstrate exceptional conceptual thinking and the ability to develop big, breakthrough ideas across all mediums including storytelling, static, native social, content creation, digital experiences and activations. You'll partner with strategic and creative teams and some of the best social and content experts in the industry.

Your Mission: to conceptualize and develop creative platforms that could travel across the funnel creating ideas that are social at heart and best-in-class creative expressions.

You will tailor your creative and content to audiences, platforms and culturally relevant moments. You will confidently sell your ideas to internal teams, senior leaders, clients and partners.

This is a position for a for a seasoned, driven, results oriented, and highly creative individual with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage deadlines, and produce highly effective creative. You must drive the work forward through organization, delivering clear feedback and specific actions for all members of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Create platforms for your brands with your extensive knowledge within ATL, social and digital with the ability to work with digital technical leads and creatives of all shapes and backgrounds
  • Shape the innovation and experience outcome of campaigns and platforms for the accounts within your brands with your extensive knowledge of technology and modem media platforms.
  • Help the overall company to become best in class for innovation and new technologies for the industry. With your consistent output you will be a key part in shaping Ogilvy's innovation and experience output.
  • Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective concepts and core creative ideas for an array of brands, products and briefs
  • Push the envelope creatively, bringing ideas that could create change not only in advertising but also in culture, tech and design.
  • Crafts work that inspires product consumption and engagement
  • Ensure creative executions meet the highest standard of craftsmanship
  • Comp decks quickly
  • Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone, style, and brand guidelines
  • Write, shoot, edit, and produce content owned across multiple channels
  • Understand business objectives and audience demographics to be able to successfully land the messaging
  • Proofread and vet copy before to ensure consistency in tone, grammar and messaging before assets are handed over to be published
  • Stay abreast of global cultural trends and industry updates, and proactively develop timely ideas for real-time content

Qualifications
  • 7+years' experience in an agency setting
  • Background in social first or tech first agencies
  • Adaptable and able to handle changes in briefs, priorities and edits
  • True passion for food & beverage vertical
  • Portfolio of social forward creative that makes our jaw drop
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent management skills and strong leadership potential
  • Expert in MAC software and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop
  • and Illustrator
  • Able to shoot and film scrappy content
  • Ability to lead scrappy content creation
  • Passion for learning and self-improvement
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines
