PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress andprovide them to administration when appropriate.
- Assist in course scheduling and the creation ofinstructional material as needed.
- Assume daily responsibility of housekeeping andmaintenance of campus-based classrooms and/or online courses.
- Maintain course gradebook and answer student questionsvisa email in a timely manner.
- Willingly spend the time necessary to accomplishassigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Assist in developing and updating course materials andcurriculum in conjunction with the Creative Technologies faculty, advisorycommittee representatives, general education faculty and technical programfaculty.
- Willingly stay up to date on technology advances in theareas of graphic design, digital art and/or web design.
- Willingly participate in both unit and institution-widestudent persistence efforts.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships withindustry representatives and partners.
- Design interactive, engaging, technology-enriched andapplications-focused student learning experiences.
- Maintain up-to-date course outlines, objectives,assignments and tests.
- Willingly participate in both unit and institution-widestudent persistence efforts.
- Foster and maintain collaborative relationships withindustry representatives and partners.
- Participate fully in the academic assessment of studentlearning in alignment with the expectations of accreditation and governingentities.
- Represent the School and University in appropriateprofessional and community organizations and related activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Graphic Design, Animation, Game Art, BFA, etc.) from an accredited college or university; master'sdegree preferred.
- Other combinations of education and industry experiencemay be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
- Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professionalbehavior.
- Three years of professional experience in the subjectto be taught, as well as demonstrated or a strong potential of teachingexcellence.
- Experience with Graphic Design and/or 3D production from concept to end use, game art production, Blender, Maya, Adobe, 3D production design, and/or mobile device asset creation preferred.
- Documented successful work experience in relatedindustry.
- Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies.
- Skilled in a variety of 3D design aspects, using PC andMacinstosh systems.
- Experience with Adobe software (Illustrator, PhotoShop, etc.) and other current digital processes.
- Experience with Autodesk software (MAYA) and related 3Dproduction software (Substance, Unreal Engine, Unity, ZBrush).
- Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complexinitiatives.
- Computer skills to include electronic communications,word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated withthe position are necessary.
- Ability to maintain high standards of work, initiative,commitment, ethics, professional responsibility and judgment.
- Superior interpersonal skills-including the ability toeffectively recognize and resolve complex problems in a constructivemanner.
- Ability to speak to a group in a manner that engages studentsand facilitates learning.
- Must exhibit characteristics of a team player, willingto take initiative and assume responsibility.
- Ability to foster and support innovation andexcellence.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and writtencommunication skills.

- If teaching online, must have consistent and reliableaccess to a computer and internet.
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Travel required.
- Normal classroom physical environment; ability to liftup to 25 pounds.
