Support the Marketing team by aiding in the execution of various initiatives. Attend morning meetings to report on resort updates, weather, and conditions. Aid with real-time public communication to guests and internal communication to employees. Aid in coordinating and execution of day-to-day marketing activities and help to ensure deliverables are completed on time. The daily snow reports are a vital piece of Crystal's business. The accuracy and availability of the snow report is essential for our guests' safety. The snow report helps drive business to the resort with correct descriptions of slope conditions, as well as forecast information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for daily communication with the Mountain Operations team, including snow makers, groomers, and lift maintenance.
- Follow up with trail updates throughout the day as needed when conditions or slope and/or lift availability change.
- Become familiar with the Crystal trail map, and well as the lift maintenance schedule.
- Update mountain report text on website and app by 7:00 a.m.
- Generate content at the direction of the Brand Manager including working with the Communications Specialist and Senior Marketing Manager
- Work with graphic designers to aid in the creation of printed material, signage, and select digital assets.
- Manage all digital screen content around the resort.
- Assist the Brand Manager in the maintenance of Crystal's social media platforms and website, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all messaging.
- Assist the Brand Manager in responding to questions on social media, in addition to emails from Guest Services
- Aid in the management of Crystal's reputation on third-party review websites such as TripAdvisor and Yelp, Google My Business; in addition to all third-party websites that publish Crystal's snow data.
- Help with the animation of events when necessary.
- Help marketing, sales, and events staff when needed, including vacation or work-related coverage.
- Update job knowledge by taking part in educational opportunities.
- Attend sales and marketing meetings and other meetings as assigned.
- Complete other tasks and duties as needed by the Sales and Marketing team.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Content Creation
- Aiding content team with curation and organization of photos and video.
- Aiding marketing and other departments with various copywriting needs.
- Compiling quality GoPro and DSLR content on a regular basis.
- Assisting Producer with planning, set-up, and execution of photo/video shoots.
Social Media Engagement
- May help with developing content for social media.
- Responding to direct messages and comments.
- Posting on-brand Instagram/Facebook Stories.
- Work well and be responsive in task management program, with fresh service tickets, and individual requests.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Intermediate or above skiing and/or riding ability.
- Must be able to work outside in the winter and summer under varying conditions.
- Must be able to work on the occasional weekend and night, as needed.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Must have dexterity to operate computer daily.
- Must have auditory and visual acuity to operate computers and phones.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSING
- High School Diploma, or Equivalent
- Knowledgeable in social media best practices as it relates to usage by a brand.
- Experience with the Adobe CC, including PS and AI or knowledgeable in website maintenance and CMS usage.
