ROLE OVERVIEW

The FN Technical Design Coordinator has ownership of specific product categories for both Junior and Plus sizes. The Technical Design Coordinator is charged to evaluate TOP garments for construction, quality, fit and compliance to FN standards while making sure the PLUS versions of a style is representative of the JR. Using time management skills, the Technical Design Coordinator is tasked to process TOPs in 3 to 4 business days. All issues are expected to be communicated to your manager, the buyer and/or vendor as soon as possible. Because of the volume of styles and nature of the business each Technical Design Coordinator has a quota that must be matched daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Product Category Ownership
  • Evaluate TOPs for fit, construction, quality and FN compliance requirements
  • Fit product on live models and form
  • Measure TOPs to evaluate specs
  • Update NetSuite with product information such as content and disclaimers
  • Communicate issues effectively to manager, buying team and vendors
  • Any other duties assigned by management.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • AA or B.S./B.A. in Fashion Technical Design and Production preferred.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office and Google sheets and general computer skills
  • Must exhibit excellent time-management and organizational
  • Must show strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of fit and construction
  • Knowledge of how to measure a garment
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • English, additional language(s) an advantage
  • Schedule of this position: Monday - Friday | Core business hours | Onsite
