THE JOB

Live Nation Entertainment's Media & Sponsorship Division is seeking an Associate Artist Rights Manager. This role sits on the Artist Rights team, which has both booking and licensing teams. The team specializes in using our booking and licensing expertise to enhance brand partnerships (identifying, negotiating, and booking the right artists for our brand clients). The role will synthesize trends and data to educate the team and division and executional support to drive effective and successful partnerships, and synch. This is a full-time position which reports to the Senior Director of Artist Rights

Live Nation Media & Sponsorship architects, sells and manages the company's national corporate sponsorship programs with the world's most recognizable brands. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Research and create artist one-sheets as needed (provide artist social stats/photo/bio, research for past sponsorships/category conflicts)
  • Draft talent offers and contracts from templates
  • Participate in talent brainstorms
  • Provide recommendations for integrated marketing proposals
  • Organize all talent submissions for different programs
  • Managing and tracking payments to appropriate parties (artist payments, licensing payments)
  • Process artist and licensing contracts, as well as tracking status of all contracts
  • Track and provide updates on artist activity to the Media & Sponsorship team (new releases, social media and streaming growth, identify trending artists, touring timelines, assemble touring lists)
  • Manage artist budgets against larger program budgets, including processing payments and tracking payment status
  • Assist with periodic client status calls and internal meetings, including the preparation of pre-call agendas and post-call recaps
  • Develop and grow relationships with key Live Nation teams (i.e., Digital and social media, Promotions, Content Production, etc.) to ensure the desired program delivery and results for clients
  • Explore marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to add value to sponsorship programs
  • Support department-wide development initiatives
  • Additional responsibilities as requested from Manager and/or Senior Management
  • Continuously strengthen day-to-day internal client relationships through detailed knowledge of the different artist programs, client's industry and business, impeccable program delivery and client engagement


WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years direct experience in the music industry,
  • Self-motivated with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Project management and organizational skills including managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and a high level of organization is imperative
  • Interest in music industry, including a passion about music, current/relevant artists and industry trends
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook as well as Google Suite products.
  • Must be able to think proactively and, at times, work with minimal supervision
  • Highly adaptive and proactive problem solving critical to success; must be resourceful individual who can quickly solve problems; ability to make independent decisions
