What you will be doing:
The Design Estimator provides audio, video, lighting and control system designs based on Ford AV and industry standards. They design provisions to include line drawings, rack details, and narrative descriptions as required to the DSE for pricing and labor estimate. Additionally, the Design Estimator must work with the sales team to obtain proper clarifications from the client or vendor.
Qualifications:
- AV Systems design experience
- CTS-D and/or CTS-I preferred
- Bachelors in EE or EET Desired
- Experience with Visio, Excel, Word
- AV Installation experience preferred
- Ability to Read Specs and Plans
- Ability to Prepare a Bill of Materials and Preliminary Labor/Travel Cost Estimates
- Strong Oral and Written Communication
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Prior Experience with Construction Management
- Strong Time Management and Self-Management Skills
