is currently looking for a
Video Production Specialist . The right candidate will produce engaging videos that will bring the builder mission to life through video content.
Using creative expertise and strong technical skills will help showcase why D.R. Horton is recognized as an industry leader.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Present and share ideas in meetings with key project stakeholders
Organize and maintain video files and assets using the team’s file structure
Ensure video quality meets platform standards across multiple digital placements
Color correct and grade footage to ensure our videos look the best
Edit and assemble raw footage into awesome video sequences
Use expertise to keep the visual elements and quality consistent throughout the entire video production process
Collaborate with project managers from different teams to help with creative concept development, pre-production, filming, and post-production work
Prepare equipment for on-location shoots and make sure it's returned to the appropriate storage areas
Assess equipment needs for upcoming productions
Test out new production equipment along with your innovative concepts
Keep storage areas and studios organized, clean, and safe
Never stop learning! Keep up to date on the latest video production processes and equipment.
Additional creative projects in support of the marketing team
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner
Ability to work overtime
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and resolutions
Experience with behind-the-scenes role-producing and packaging video content that captures and engages
Possess strong technical skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite video and audio applications - Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition
Strong interpersonal skills – required to work with various internal departments, key stakeholders, and partners
Project management – Project needs can change on a moment’s notice. Ability to remain calm, cool, and collected in times of change
Collaboration and feedback – Receptive and willing to give and receive constructive feedback
Possess a strong video project portfolio showing off your best work
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Ability to sit for the majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision; MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 POUNDS
The noise level is generally moderate
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Video Production or a related field is preferred
Previous Video Production experience with an agency or within a creative department a plus
Freelance and contract experience are also considered with the right skill set
