SYSCOM has a full time opening for a Senior System Administrator/Lead with deep experience in IBM Content Manager and Mainframe. The Senior System Administrator/Lead will have responsibility for an enterprise system, they will manage components of the system and they will support issues that may occur in test and production environments. The selected candidate will also support developers that need to integrate to the system. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned ECM Administrator to be a lead and part of a challenging environment.

Work location: The primary place of performance is Remote.

Fundamental Skills Required

  • Java 8 - understanding (not coding)
  • File specs - PDF, Raster (TIFF), Mo:DCA, AFP, LineData
  • Protocols - HTML, SOAP, REST, ATOM

Technical Skills & Minimum Qualifications
  • IBM Content Manager custom application development
  • IBM Content Navigator plugin development
  • IBM Content Navigator build and update procedure
  • IBM Content Manager CMIS integration - support applications that integrate to CMIS
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server ND - knowledge of application deploy and configuration
  • Microsoft Windows PowerShell CMD scripts development
  • IBM Notes Lotus script coding, very minimal.

Tools, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • IBM Content Manager
  • CM API - rules for usage and custom application development; knowledge of samples
  • IBM Content Navigator - perform user actions
  • Navigator Configuration - perform configuration, desktops, viewer maps
  • Navigator Plugin - rules for development and configuration
  • IBM Content Manager OnDemand - perform user actions
  • IBM WebSphere - assist administrator to manage 13 applications
  • IBM Notes - development (minimal)
  • Custom Viewer Navigator Plugin, Custom Content Services.
  • SPLUNK - user of log facility to analyze messages and troubleshoot conditions
  • Github Desktop, Github Enterprise - perform code management
    Jenkins - perform application builds
  • UrbanCode Deploy - perform application deployment
  • SmartBear SOAPUI - create and run test projects for SOAP or REST applications
  • Salesforce MuleSoft - use custom Mulesoft APIs developed by client
  • Service Now - user of task management tools

Job duties and activities, additional responsibilities also include:
  • Update IBM products.
  • Update Custom integration components as IBM API is updated.
  • Deploy new updates to test and prod environments.
  • Smoke test deployment updates.
  • Smoke test after WebSphere or prerequisite or network updates.
  • Analyze issues that occur in test or production.
  • Support development teams that integrate to IBM Content Manager via API, CMIS, or Mulesoft API.
  • Understanding of clients Security Policy and procedures and business document topology.
