One River School of Art & Design - Transforming Art Education

$25-$40 Per Hour

We are currently recruiting for a Art Teachers for students of all ages - K-Adult for weekends in our Hartsdale school location.

MUST HAVE SUNDAY AVAILABILITY

It is a great opportunity for public and private school art teachers and current art students in graduate programs to earn extra money doing what they love. Our working environment is fun and team oriented.

Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided. Our Fine Arts instructors need a strong background in visual arts - BFA or MFA preferred and at least 2 years fine art teaching experience.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience teaching fine art classes - digital teachers need Illustrator, Animate, Photoshop, Procreate
• BFA or BS Art Education
• Knowledge of a wide range of studio art mediums and techniques
• Thoughtful communication skills
• A passion for One River School's mission
• Must live within easy commutable distance from work site location

You will teach one or more of a variety of proprietary digital art classes. Our students are mostly K-12 but we also run classes for adults from beginner to advanced level. Our students are motivated and hardworking. Our class sizes are small and there is no prep needed outside of the classroom. You will deliver the curriculum with enthusiasm and tailor instruction to suit individual students' needs while keeping it fun and relevant.
