About the Role

As the Architectural Design Manager, you'll oversee multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring our brand standards are met and guiding the team to deliver high-quality results. This role blends hands-on project management with strategic brand application, team mentorship, and the use of Revit to support efficient, accurate design processes.
Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead multiple multi-family residential projects from start to finish, coordinating design, budgeting, scheduling, and construction to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that aligns with brand standards.
- Brand Consistency: Apply and adapt brand guidelines to new projects, creating spaces that reflect our distinctive brand identity and elevate resident experience. Serve as the brand champion, making sure every design decision aligns with our aesthetic and functional goals.
- Mentorship & Team Development: Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Share expertise, support skill development, and build processes to enhance team efficiency.
- Revit & BIM Proficiency: Drive the use of Revit and BIM in our design process, creating and managing digital models, overseeing documentation, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of design outputs.
- Problem Solving & Risk Management: Proactively address project challenges, finding solutions to stay on track with timelines, budget, and quality. Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- FF&E Coordination: Collaborate with the Concept team to develop furniture, finishes, and accessories catalogs, ensuring accessible resources for streamlined project specs and ordering.
Ideal Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in multi-family residential, commercial real estate, or a related field.
- Strong project management and strategic thinking skills in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
- Strong understanding of brand-driven design principles, with the ability to creatively apply brand guidelines to unique residential spaces.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and capable of strategic planning to align design initiatives with broader business goals.
- Team player with a coaching mindset, eager to share knowledge and support growth.
- Excellent communicator, comfortable leading cross-functional discussions with all levels.
- Advanced Revit skills and BIM experience, with a passion for leveraging technology in design.
