Job DescriptionAs a design firm we aspire for excellence in everything we do. Our ideal Design Associate is a communicative, highly personable, and detail oriented individual collaborating with our design team to prioritize projects, while also communicating with contractors, vendors, and clients
- Coordinate and collaborate with design team
- Produce and review selections of Furniture, Artwork, Fabrics and Finishes, Drapery, Tile, Lighting, Millwork, Cabinetry Door styles, Hardware and Paint.
- Provide design solutions throughout project phases.
- AutoCAD drawings related to furniture and artwork
- Manage and track project forecasting while facilitating and meeting deadline expectations
- Plan long term goals with clients, builders and architects.
- Communicate project expectations with team members.
- Conduct site visits as needed, with excellent client service.
- Create, place, and follow up on orders.
- Participate in FF&E installations
- Present design ideas and details with confidence and enthusiasm
- Support incoming and outgoing communication with clients.
- Support the growth of the organization
- Contribute to the team culture and overall goals.
- At least 2+ years in the field
- Bachelors of Interior Design in CIDA accredited program
- Creative residential design experience, high end residential is a plus.
- Proficiency of AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- Ability to use Apple softwares.
- Ability to organize, plan projects and maintain strong attention to detail
- Ability to take Initiative and be a team player
- Exhibits a strong work ethic and maintains a positive attitude
- Project Management Skills, with ability to multi-task projects.
- Takes pride in accuracy of the details of their work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to feel comfortable in a fast paced, and at sometimes stressful, environment.
