Shift: DayWorking Hours: DaySummary:The Women's Health Grant Writer plays a pivotal role in securing funding for projects, programs, and initiatives dedicated to advancing women's health and well-being. This position involves effectively researching, writing, and coordinating grant applications to various funding sources, such as government agencies, foundations, and private donors. The Grant Writer will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, gather essential information, and articulate the organization's objectives and impact in a compelling manner to secure financial support. The Grant Writer must proactively seek funding sources and maintain a working knowledge of interests and expectations of the organization's potential and existing funders. The Grant Writer will conduct research, writing, reporting, and other duties as assigned.Other information:Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or related discipline. Master's Degree preferredProven experience in grant writing and successful grant acquisition, preferably in the field of women's healthStrong understanding of women's health issues, healthcare systems, and related policiesExceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narrativesProficiency in budget development and financial reporting as related to grant applications.Detail oriented with excellent research and organizational abilitiesDemonstrated experience developing proposals for large institutional foundations Able to work independently, nimbly manage multiple deadlinesCollegial team player able to interact effectively with diverse internal and external constituenciesThis job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
