Advertising Videographer
The Videographer 1 provides support services for planning, filming, and editing videos that could be used for a variety of projects such as highlight videos, general promotion, interview based, as well as other types of videos. Artistic intuition guides informed decisions and skillful execution during pre-production, production, and post-production. Technical skill is required to operate production equipment and use creative software to edit or composite video. Flexibility is required as duties vary from filling support roles to owning and ensuring project completion. Flexibility is also required regarding the work schedule, as you may be required to work nights and weekends. The Videographer 1 develops personal skills in general production and video editing and when ready, begins acting as a Project Lead on projects under the direction of a Videographer 2 or Videographer 3.
Pre-Production/Production
Coordinates with the Project Lead on project research and planning to meet client expectations as outlined in the Project Brief. Assists the Project Lead in various aspects of shoots including but not limited to preparation of equipment, setting up/tearing down of equipment on set, and assigned on-set responsibilities such as camera operator, lighting technician, audio technician, grip, gaffer, or other set responsibilities.
Post Production
Assists the Project Lead as needed in executing final video production including color correction, text, graphics, sound design/mixing, and exporting the video file.
Time Management
Manages project load so that deadlines are met. Prioritizes projects efficiently and maintains flexibility to move from one project to the next or change priorities as required.
Develop Skills
Develops skills and improves abilities with production and editing techniques and tools. Stays updated on current technology, trends, and improvements in the video production process. Shares learned information with other team members to aide in the improvement of skills and knowledge of the video team.

Education
College Degree: Related Field (Required), Master's Degree: Related Field
Work Experience
1+ years in video camera and editing operations, 1+ years in video production
