4 News Now is looking for a storyteller to join our digital team in an exciting position to meet the needs of today's audiences. We're looking for someone who understands both the on-air and digital spaces, and who can chart a new course in the streaming world. This person will thrive on deadlines, understand the importance of breaking news, curate and create new digital content, and will build a relationship with our digital audience.

What you'll do:
As aDigital News Anchor/Producer, you will help lead our streaming coverage efforts that includes:
You will contribute content to our digital and on-air platforms, including cross-promoting streaming content and we will count on you to be a problem-solver when it comes to technical issues, production, and programming. Your flair for analytics and audience tools will help us better listen to and understand our audience.
What you'll bring:
The Digital News Anchor/Producer will have experience in broadcast journalism, preferably in on-air or producing roles, combined with a strong understanding of the digital space, including streaming platforms. We are looking for experience writing for print using AP style, a solid command of journalism ethics and the tenets of professional journalism and experience producing video and audio for the web using desktop video software. A BA/BS in journalism or related field with online publishing or communications experience preferred. Basic knowledge of HTML and familiarity with word processing software, and image editing software such as Photoshop and Canva are needed. Pay Range: $18hr/$20hr

- Anchor streaming coverage of livestream events and breaking news
- Identify content that would be relevant to our audiences and execute coverage from beginning to the end of a story
- Create relevant content for our digital platforms that both engage and attract audiences in our market

- Assist in training other members of the team in digital content and strategies
