Job Description:
Role name: Technician
1. Installation and Setup:? Install, configure, and test audio, video, and collaboration equipment including projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, cameras, and conferencing systems.? Ensure all AV equipment is properly connected and integrated with existing IT infrastructure.2. Maintenance and Support:? Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems toensure optimal performance.? Respond to and resolve technical issues related to AV equipment ina timely manner.? Provide on-site and remote support for AV-related incidents and service requests.3. User Training and Assistance:? Conduct training sessions for end-users on how to operate AV equipment and collaboration tools.? Create and maintain user guides and documentation for AVsystems.4. Event Support:? Provide technical support for meetings, conferences, webinars, and other events, ensuring seamless AV integration.? Coordinate with event organizers to understand requirements and provide appropriate AV solutions.5. Project Management:? Assist with planning and execution of AV projects, including upgrades and new installations.6. System Integration:? Integrate AV systems with other communication and IT systems to enhance collaboration and productivity.? Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.7. Collaboration with AV Engineer:? Work closely with the AV Engineer to design and implement AV solutions that meet organizational needs.? Assist the AV Engineer in troubleshooting complex AV issues and developing innovative solutions.

Experience (Years): 2-4
Essential Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in AV installation, maintenance, and support.- Proficiency with AV systems such as Crestron, Extron, Polycom, CiscoWebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other collaboration tools.- Strong understanding of networking principles and their application in AV environments.- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose andresolve technical issues.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with end-users and team members.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed for events orurgent support.
Desirable Skills: - Experience in working with the following cloud-based video collaborationplatforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)- In-depth knowledge of video collaboration platforms, codecs, protocols, andrelated technologies.- Familiarity with video conferencing hardware, including cameras, microphones,and display systems.- Working knowledge of A/V concepts around audio and video signal types, routing,and cabling- Experience with AV Control systems- Experience with video collaboration services and technologies from vendors suchas: Polycom, MS Teams, Crestron, Neat- Experience in working with cloud-based video collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom,Microsoft Teams)- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols relevant to video collaboration (e.g., SIP, H.323, WebRTC).
