An employer in Houston, TX is seeking a AV Service Technician to join their Service team. The AV Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance/ troubleshooting & installation of commercial and professional audio visual equipment at various sites. Required Skills & Experience-- 10 years of experience installing & troubleshooting commercial (Oil & Gas/ Energy/ Hospitality/ Higher Ed/ High End Facilities) AV systems during service calls.-5+ years of experience being a Lead AV Technician.-Familiar with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Audio DSP Systems.-Ability to commission & load Extron/ Creston/ BiAMP/ AMX code.-Experience with "rapid deployment & set up" of projects while working independently.-Ability to test completed systems fully for both engineering specifications and operational functionality.-High standards of workmanship on cabling, lacing, soldering, and crimping.-Must be okay with everyday travel in the Houston area & occasionally College Station in a provided company vehicle. Nice to Have Skills & ExperiencePlusses:-Network cabling is a plus.-CTS or Manufactures certifications are a plus.-Previous Lead AV Service Experience.
