Pinnacle Live is a Collaborative Crusader.We empower you to tackle tough challengestodeliver unforgettable hospitality and live event experiences.Job Summary:The Sales Director plays a critical role within the In-Venue Sales Organization as they will beresponsiblefor driving and managing the sales efforts within their assigned hotel. This position will act as the PinnacleLive sales leader within the hotel, with a focus on building hotelrelationships, surpassing sales goals, andfacilitating collaboration among the Pinnacle Live and hotel sales teams. The Sales Director is highlyinfluential and is responsible for driving the short- and long-term growth and profitability.Essential Functions:Enforce the Catalyst Sales Process for all hotel leads as directed by the NationalDirectorof Sales.Responsible for having a deep knowledge of Pinnacle Live's products and offeringswhiledisplayingpassion for learning and understanding new technologies.Communicate & collaborate effectively with the Venue Director on day-to-dateresponsibilities,serviceand client issues, hotel relationships, and management of the SalesManagers if applicable.Communicate & collaborate effectively with the National Director of Venue Sales on salesfunnelmanagement, sales strategies, and CRM management.Represent Pinnacle Live and the hotel during site visits, planning meetings, and pre-conventionand debrief meetings when applicable.Hire, manage, and continual development of the Sales Manager staff and ensure theyaredelivering "Gold Standard" customer experiences throughout the sales process, event execution,andpost event follow-up.Responsible for generating and revising scope of work, quotes, proposals, and contracts based onthe needs of large-scale hotel leads requiring AV products and services.Stay attuned to the Sales Managers' needs and have an open line of communication for them.Stay attuned to the needs of the Hotel Sales Team, keeping an open line of communication forthem.Coordinate with the Operations department to ensure successful events for our clientsProvide and measure accurate revenue forecasts for the sales team and leadership.Use creativity and collaboration to explore profitability, revenue opportunities, and clientretention.Responsible for selling profitable business that aligns with budget expectations, forecasting,reporting to support P&Lefforts andshould have a working understanding of a how a P&L works.Manage accurate and timely billing of events and clients through the sales team.Perform other duties as assigned.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in business or related fieldSales leadership roleMinimum of five (5) years' experience in a customer service facing roleMinimum of three (3) years' experience in a sales management roleStrong business communication, presentation, and writingskillsProficiency in CRM platforms, ability to generate high-quality insights into sales activity process Exceptional relationship builder, internally and externally Production and Staging experience within a hotel, venue, convention center, or traveling organization is requiredScenic andDecorexperience isrequiredRigging, Electrical, and Exhibit experience isrequiredRequired Skills & Knowledge:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
