Rapiscan Systems | AS&E, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Content Specialist based out of Billerica, MA.
Assist to develop, maintain and centralize all Proposal Content. Meet with supporting functions (Product Management, Product Marketing Managers, Program Management, Service, etc.) to ensure content is always up to date and accurate.

Responsibilities:
Primary role is to assist the Sr Content Manager for CVI to support the Bid Team with:
- Maintenance of proposal automation software (i.e. Qvidian).
- Interviewing and working closely with technical experts to develop technically accurate and persuasive sales content.
- Conducting internal & external research specific to markets and disciplines.
- As required support proposal function with custom write-ups for specific RFP requirements.
- As required support proposal function with Executive Summaries.
- As required create compliance matrices to reflect RFP requirements.
- As required copy edit and format proposal documents prior to customer submission.
- Over time develop and maintain content for other company functions such as Program Management and Service.
- Customize Proposal Templates per region if required.
- Identify most effective content.
- Create market specific proposal templates.
- Work with Sales and Sales Operations to improve proposal messaging.
- Work with Sales, Sales Operations and Marketing on proposal graphics.
- Participate in proposal win/loss debriefs to incorporate feedback into content.
- Fast-paced environment; requires significant use of telephone and computer.
- Must be able to complete job responsibilities working with different time zone needs such as attending late night/early morning meetings by phone.

Additional Responsibilities
Support ISO auditing through a thorough understanding of all departmental procedures.
- Support initiatives for process improvement, such as proposal templates and or content.
- Understand status of performance to metrics and provide feedback on improvements in performance to standards and methods for improving efficiency.
- Continuous learning in commercial and technical understanding of products.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelors Degree required
Experience
- Experience with proposal automation software preferred
- 2+ years of proposal writer/content experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of basic contract language
- Foreign Language proficiency a plus
