THE VITAL ROLE YOU HAVE

This position typically works 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility depending on scheduling requirements. This position earns a competitive salary of $70k - $100k/year. This is not a remote position this is on-site in our Birmingham office.

As an AV Design Engineer, your days will be filled with excitement and innovation. Collaborate with our team to design, install, and troubleshoot cutting-edge AV systems. Your technical prowess will shine as you bring designs to fruition, test systems, diagnose issues, and ensure optimal performance. Manage audiovisual projects from planning stages to completion, providing recommendations to mitigate project risks. Your expertise will help us exceed our customers' expectations and stay ahead in the industry!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field OR extensive AV engineering experience
• 5+ years of AV engineering experience
• Strong understanding of AV technologies and products for commercial applications
• Knowledge of IT/business infrastructure and Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of control systems, DSPs, and other AV product setup and programming
• Ability to obtain AVIXA CTS-D certification within 1 year
• Ability to use AutoCAD efficiently
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication skills

Being Crestron, AMX, and/or Q-SYS programming certified is a plus!
