Our client is a growing confectionery business expanding in the Fort Lauderdale areaThis role is a hybrid role: Wed-Sunday work hours.Position OverviewThe Event Concierge will lead the way in executing high-quality, personalized events to meet our companys needs. This role involves organizing and managing event logistics, preparing and setting up our trucks, ensuring a seamless guest experience, and upholding our high service standards. The Event Concierge will also be responsible for developing, training, and managing a team, ensuring they’re equipped to uphold the companys reputation for excellence. Initially, a flexible schedule is required to facilitate team building, training, and event execution. As the team becomes established, the Event Concierge will transition to a regular schedule.Key Responsibilities• Event Coordination: Organize and manage event schedules, coordinating timing for efficient travel and seamless event transitions.• Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a team members to maintainservice standards at every event.• Truck Management: Maintain our vehicles in pristine condition, ensuring they are clean,organized, and stocked for every event.• Event Execution: Oversee and assist with event setup, truck preparation, and breakdown, ensuring all event details align with companys standards.• Customer Interaction: Provide warm, engaging, and responsive service, ensuring each guest feels valued and cared for.Skills and Qualities• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused with a track record of providing exceptional service.• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during high-pressure or challenging situations.• Independent yet collaborative, able to work effectively as both a team leader and a supportive colleague.• Proactive “can-do” attitude, always willing to go above and beyond to create a memorable experience.Requirements• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and insured vehicle.• Able to operate a large SUV-type vehicle.• Must pass a criminal background check.• Must provide reference checks.This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating unique experiences and who thrives in a dynamic environment.
