Texas Instruments is seeking an Analog Design Manager. In this role, you will direct and guide the activities of a research or technical design function responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. You may also evaluate final results of research and development projects to assure accomplishment of technical objectives. In addition, job functions include preparing and presenting reports outlining the outcome of technical projects and making recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results. As an Analog Design Manager, you may also select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Custom Power Products
product line is delivering industry leading power system solutions including Battery Chargers, PMICs, Camera Flash LED drivers etc. This is a great opportunity to be part of the best custom power semiconductor team in the world.
In this role, responsibilities may include:
•Manage an Analog IC design team with product ownership and responsibility from definition to release to manufacturing
•Actively participate in hiring, developing and evaluating personnel to ensure efficient operation of the organization and growth of the individuals into leader
•Responsible for driving accountability and execution excellence within the team
•Responsible for mentoring the team, driving increasing capabilities of the team
•Responsible for performance management of the team
•Make assignments for team members, providing design guidance as needed, developing schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project
•Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitors the progress of IC layout
•Collaborate with validation, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production
•Interface and lead discussions with the customer to understand customer designs, problems and support as required
Minimum requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field of study
•10 years of relevant experience
•Extensive background in Power IC design
Preferred qualifications:
•Prior experience managing high performance analog design teams, preferably Power IC teams
•Extensive experience in leading complex power management device development
•Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
•Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
•Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
•Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
•Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
