Communications Specialist II
to join their team, responsible for supporting enterprise-wide communications initiatives with a focus on business partner communications. In this role, you will help shape and amplify their mission of supporting renters and homeowners through engaging storytelling and strategic communication efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Development: Inform and engage employees through storytelling, crafting content that resonates and fosters a strong connection to their mission.Project Management: Support the development, execution, and measurement of internal communications projects across multiple channels, including newsletters, web/intranet content, digital signage, and more.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Internal Communications teammates and corporate functional business partners, such as Mission and Strategy, Human Resources, Community Impact, and Housing Equity Strategy and Impact, to support their strategic communication objectives.Audience Engagement: Design and deliver messages tailored to engage Fannie Mae employees, using data-driven insights to continuously improve communication impact.Skills & QualificationsWriting and Editorial Skills: Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling content following AP Style guidelines.Platform Proficiency: Proficient in tools to manage mass email distribution and newsletters, web/intranet content management, and digital signage.Technical Tools: Experience with SharePoint and Adobe Marketing Cloud (or similar platforms) is highly preferred.News and Marketing Background: Background in journalism or experience creating news, features, or marketing copy.Education & ExperienceDegree: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.Experience: 3-6 years of experience in a communications role, with a strong background in developing and delivering strategic internal messaging.JustinBradley is an EO employer - Veterans/Disabled and other protected employees.
