COMMUNITY-MANAGER-IN-TRAINING

Position Overview:

This is a unique role where you will learn the ins and outs of one of the most important and highly demanding roles within the organization. You have a very important leadership role to play not only with existing team members but with the residents of our communities as well. You are expected to perform regular operational tasks such as collecting rent payments, managing supplies and marketing materials, developing team, and protecting all company assets. In addition to this, you are also the main advocate for the residents and will be the point person when it comes to resolving all complaints that come through your office. You must be able to make executive decisions under the supervision and approval of your supervisor when it comes to financial success and the overall safety and conditions of your community.

Essential Functions:

Manage inventory, marketing, and advertising plansOversee sales of new, used, and foreclosed homesCollect all rent and loan monies to meet the company delinquency rateMaximize Community occupancy and leased home incomeProfessionally resolve resident communications and concernsProvide hands-on leadership and management to all team membersRecruit, train, and develop teamCreate and maintain a positive Community environment including resident activitiesDevelop and maintain positive relationships with cities, municipalities, and countiesCommunicate and manage policies and proceduresReply to emails within an average of 24 hours or lessCreate and ensure a safe work environmentProtect and maintain Company assetsControl expensesMaintain professional behavior which does not interfere with the individual's work, the work of anotherTeam Member, or the quality of life for Community ResidentsAssure that all vendors are on the approved vendor list and are compliant with NetVendorConduct market surveys as required and create and implement marketing plans for ongoing success and high occupancy of communityPerform and schedule all evictions, utility cut off's and enforce adherence to all rules and regulations by all residentsAttend all company meetings, training, and conferences as requested by the managementAdditional duties as assigned by Regional Manager and are subject to changeRequired Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skillsMust be self-motivated, independent, and able to work with minimal supervisionStrong leadership and decision-making skillsDemonstrated ability to motivate and manage team performanceComputer Skills including Microsoft Office software productsTeam oriented with an innate ability to build community with team members both at the community level and beyondOccasional travel may be requestedMust obtain or transfer state-specific licensing within 90 days of employment where applicableEducation and Experience:

A valid in-state driver's license is requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentProperty management or equivalent experience is preferred
