The Director of Digital Media will balance hands-on execution, leading a talented team and enhancing client relationships. In this professional-yet-relaxed environment, we want employees who enjoy what they do and where they work, and who constantly strive to help us grow by helping our clients grow.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS A DIRECTOR OF DIGITALDigital Media Strategy, Optimization & ExecutionOversees the management and hands-on strategic planning, execution, and optimization of programmatic, paid social, and paid search campaigns, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client objectives.Work closely with strategy and planning teams to develop innovative digital media strategies that leverage optimal channels, targeting, and spend levels for maximum performance.Stay informed on industry trends, emerging digital tools, and regulatory changes, with a strong focus on data privacy compliance. This includes monitoring data protection regulations to ensure all campaigns adhere to the latest standards and maintain the highest level of consumer trust.Team Leadership & DevelopmentManage and mentor a team of digital media experts, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration.Oversee team performance and career development, ensuring high-quality work and hands-on guidance.Support training initiatives to ensure team members are fully equipped to achieve outstanding results.Client Engagement & Strategic ExecutionServe as a digital media expert in client meetings, presenting strategies, hands-on insights, and campaign performance updates.Partner with clients to understand their business goals, translating these into actionable digital media strategies across programmatic, paid social, and paid search.Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively identifying new opportunities to exceed expectations.Process Improvement & Internal EfficiencyDrive continuous improvements in internal processes within the digital media team to enhance operational efficiency and campaign outcomes.Champion the adoption of best practices in digital operations, ensuring smooth, hands-on campaign execution and clear communication across teams.Data-Driven Insights & ReportingProvide data-driven insights and regular reporting to translate metrics into actionable recommendations.Collaborate with analytics teams to develop dashboards, unify measurement frameworks, and enhance reporting accuracy.
IDEAL BACKGROUND
Over 10 years of agency-side experience in digital media, with hands-on expertise in executing campaigns across platforms like The Trade Desk, PulsePoint DV360, Meta, and Google Ads.Proven leadership in managing and developing teams, fostering accountability, and driving collaborative success.Strong client-facing skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver strategic insights, maintain strong client relationships, and provide hands-on guidance.Proactive and detail-oriented, consistently identifying opportunities to optimize campaigns, streamline processes, and drive client innovation.Strong analytical skills with expertise in interpreting performance data and optimizing campaigns through multi-touch attribution models.Skilled in A/B testing, multivariate testing, and conversion rate optimization, ensuring campaigns meet performance goals.Research shows that women and people of color are often hesitant to apply for a job unless they meet every listed qualification. That being said, we do understand that some days are more productive remotely, and we offer additional remote flexibility as needed. Note that parking is paid for by Media Bridge when employees are required to work onsite.
