The ideal candidate is interested in working for the state government and being part of a fast-paced, goal-oriented organization and possesses the following characteristics:Effective communication skills in both oral and written formatsCurious and eager to learnDetail oriented and highly organized; able to successfully manage and prioritize several concurrent projects with competing deadlinesAble to ensure accountability in collaborative and independent settingsAction-oriented and focused on meeting deadlines and achieving outcomesJob FunctionsContent CreationCreate visually compelling and technically sound online communications designed to drive traffic, promote engagement, and support OSD objectivesPerform keyword, industry, and competitive research to inform content marketing strategy, and collaborate with content contributors to create high-quality content around relevant terms and trendsProduce creative visual assets (photographs, videos, infographics, GIFs, stop-motion) for website, email marketing, blog, and social media usageSocial MediaManage OSD’s social media accounts, including X, and LinkedInOversee the posting social media calendar, utilizing Hootsuite.
