Position Summary: The Athletics Department at Bryant University invites applications for an Assistant Director of Broadcast Services and Creative Content. Bryant University is a NCAA Division I program, sponsoring 25 varsity sports, and is a member of the America East Conference and an affiliate member of the CAA, Southland, and East Coast Conference.

Our new strategic plan, Vision 2030, sets a trajectory for the next decade through academic excellence, outstanding student life, competitive athletics, and student outcomes among the nation’s top 1% for ROI.Accountabilities:Oversee the development and production for all broadcasts on the Bryant Sports Network with main focus on managing broadcasts on ESPN+, America East TV, and FloSports.Create postgame highlight packages for distribution on the website and promoting upcoming events.Develop and maintain an archive system of broadcasts for historical purposes.Recruit, hire, and mentor students to be part of the broadcast production team including producers, graphics, camera operators, and broadcast talent.Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues with production equipment.Work with Athletics Communications and Marketing for creation of content including, but not limited to, use on Daktronics video boards and score tables, promotional video, team intros, corporate sponsor, and campus facilities.Collaborate with campus Communication Department resources.Responsible for compiling end-of-year highlight video for Athletic Awards presentation.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.Experience in video editing using Adobe Creative Suite, working knowledge of Daktronics, NewTek, AJT Graphics, Tricaster Switcher, and replay unit.Knowledge of lighting, cabling, and equipment management.Strong organizational skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong background in video engineering, live streaming support, and electrical connectivity.Experience in a problem-solving environment in both technical and creative means for projects.Certain requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate persons with disabilities.Working Environment:Bryant University recognizes that its position as a leader in higher education is greatly determined both by the diversity of its campus community and its intellectual endeavors.
