Our team drives brand awareness and engagement, amplifies brand storytelling, creates compelling and innovative content, and builds strategic partnerships for the Pottery Barn brand.

Overview of the Content Producer roleThe Content Producer role is a full-time (hybrid) position based in our San Francisco office. The person in this role will have the opportunity to bring creative visions to life by creating engaging video content for organic social media, paid social media, and site. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative, has a passion for visual storytelling, a great eye for design, and stays up to date with current trends to engage audiences efficiently.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...Produce and edit video content, taking projects from concept to completion while working within the parameters of the brand style guides.Execute seasonal calendar and updates based upon the timelines of cross-functional teams.Gather all materials and assets needed for weekly edits.Create final video cuts from the video footage captured.Collaborate with Manager, Video Content on the storyboards and execution.Manage footage and archive clips for usage in current or future videos.Create various cuts in length and crop for uses on site, social and paid ads.Customize video cuts to the behaviors of the various platforms.Translate our brand into video content and ensure content is in alignment with the Pottery Barn brand.Execute content database, including metadata, attributes, and related media assets to online library.Assist in tracking final assets for content accuracy and reporting purposes.Assist in publishing media content, if necessary.Maintain presentation boards related to content shoots, both evergreen and seasonal.Work with business and marketing teams to clarify objectives, revise creative and ensure accuracy of campaigns.Stay current on industry trends in video -- keep the brand at the forefront of editorial content and best practices.

We're excited about you because...You have a BA/BS.You have 4+ years of relevant experience -- ideally in a media, retail or ecommerce environment with a lifestyle-oriented "trend-setting" brand.You have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.You have the ability to self-direct under ambiguous and changing circumstances.You are detail-oriented and have very strong organizational skills.You have strong written and verbal communications skills.You are highly proficient in video production, with specialization in art direction and shooting.Proficient in Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and FTP systems.Proficient in video analytics.Have a knowledge of social media platforms and video best practices.Are proactive and think creatively. Bring a willingness to go above and beyond.Ability to perform work onsite in the (San Francisco, Rocklin, Portland, New York, San Jose) office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
