This entry to mid-level marketing coordinator/pursuits associate leads the development of responses to RFQ/RFPs, interview presentations, and award submissions. Additionally, the associate is the point of contact for assigned business units. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, high-performing, and has strong customer service skills. The key to this position is the ability to multi-task and to remain cool while working under multiple deadlines. The position requires excellent writing and design layout skills.

ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy, coordination, writing, editing, layout, and production of qualifications packages and proposals.

Collaborate with project teams to develop interview presentation strategy; lead the development of interview materials including presentations, interview books, and handouts; direct presentation rehearsals and ensure the presentation team is well-prepared.

Act as point of contact for assigned business units; guide them as they need marketing support; maintain project and team knowledge in CRM and other systems.

Develop and maintain business unit-specific marketing content including narratives and photography for use in proposals, brochures, collateral, company website, social media, etc.

Update and maintain marketing materials including resumes, project sheets, proposal materials, etc.

Manage and produce industry and project-specific award submissions.

The position reports to a Pursuits Manager.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience.

0–4 years of experience in marketing in a fast-paced corporate environment; experience in the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) field is desirable, but not required.

Excellent technical writing and copy-editing skills are required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

High level of working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is desired (specifically InDesign).

Experience developing RFQ and RFP responses is desired.

Confidence in leading operations project teams and collaborating with executive leadership individually and in group settings.

Demonstrated strengths in teamwork, organization, multi-tasking, and project management are a plus.

Working knowledge of CRM systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus.

In accordance with California’s Labor Code Section 432.3, the base salary range for this position is:$73,700.00 - $95,700.00 Compensation in other cities and states may vary.
